APR 29 – More Cancer Bats gigs. First up, Cancer Bats have been confirmed to play the 2nd stage of the Download Festival on Saturday 12th June. The band will also be supporting Bring Me The Horizon on their September tour. Finally, Cancer Bats will play a headline show at The Carleton in Morcambe on September 26th in between BMTH shows. Get tickets for all these shows here, but hurry, some have already sold out.

In related news, City and Colour featuring Dallas Green of Alexisonfire play two headline shows in London on June 14th and 15th... BUT these have already sold out, so head to eBay if you want to go! I have my fingers crossed for a City and Colour set at Download.

APR 12 – Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones out now! The third studio album by Cancer Bats is out now and features 14 tracks including Beastie Boys cover Sabotage. You can buy the deluxe edition CD + DVD from HMV (£8.99) or Play (£11.80) - Free delivery at every store. Alternatively, get the regular version for from HMV (£6.99) or Play (£7.99).

MAR 31 – London Show sells out, so head to Kingston. The London show at the Relentless Garage on April 16th has now sold out, though there are limited tickets available here. Don't worry, Banquet Records in Kingston (my favourite record store btw!) have announced two all ages album release shows on Saturday April 17th. The 4pm show has already SOLD OUT, so an extra 2pm show has been added due to massive demand. Hurry - ticket details here.

MAR 30 – Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones release date. The new Cancer Bats album, Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones will be released on April 12th at all good record shops. Pre-order the special edition CD + DVD version here.

FEB 28 – Watch the new video for Sabotage. I held off adding this earlier as Cancer Bats wanted you to share it on Twitter or Facebook in order to watch it. FEB 02 – Cancer Bats announce exclusive London show. The band will be playing a one-off UK gig in London at the Relentless Garage on Friday April 16th. Support will come from Trash Talk and Chickenhawk. Get your tickets now!!

JAN 27 – Cancer Bats In Session on the Radio 1 Rock Show. Cancer Bats were featured in session on this week's Rock Show with Daniel P Carter on Radio 1 last night. The band played 3 tracks recorded exclusively for the show at Maida Vale studios, including their cover of the Beastie Boys' Sabotage. Don't worry if you missed it - you can listen again here on BBC iPlayer. But hurry, it'll only be up for a week!

JAN 17 – Sabotage release date announced. In August last year Cancer Bats blew the crowd at Sonisphere away with a cover of the Beastie Boys' Sabotage. This is set to be the next Cancer Bats single and will be released on March 2nd as a two track EP along with new song Dead Wrong. We'll be featuring the video for Sabotage right here as soon as it's released, so keep checking back!

NOV 08 – Two UK Tour Dates to go. So, the Billy Talent UK tour has now finished and most of the headlining shows have been and gone too. If you didn't manage to make any of those gigs, you can still catch Cancer Bats at two rescheduled headline tour dates in York and Bournemouth at the beginning of December. Get the tour dates and tickets here. Support at York Fibbers comes from The Computers, Drowned In Flames and Teen Zu. Support at Bournemouth iBar comes from The Computers.

SEP 14 – Cancer Bats reveal new album title. Cancer Bats are currently working on album number 3 in Canada and have revealed to Rock Sound that it will be titled Bears, Mayors, Scraps And Bones. The album will likely be released in early 2010.
